

Major League Gaming with the help of 343 Industries are hosting the very first official Halo 4 tournament in Dallas, Texas.
“Some of the world’s best teams and players including past MLG Halo Champions Instinct and Status Quo, renowned player Ogre 1, Call of Duty team Optic, and more will compete in the 4 v 4 tournament for a chance at $40,000 in prizes. Competitors will have the opportunity to practice and scrimmage on Friday, November 2 beginning at 1:30pm with the competition taking place on Saturday, November 3 and Sunday, November 4. Passes are available now.
In Dallas, teams will compete in a dedicated tournament area with a feature station showcasing select matches leading up to the finals on Championship Sunday. A large video screen above the competition area will broadcast gameplay for spectators to congregate and watch the action LIVE from the show floor. “
Also featured at the event will be the likes of Starcraft, Mortal Combat, and League of legends.

MLG’s Adam Apicella announced on Twitter recently that due to high demand and the sale of the original 204 tickets allotted for the event MLG have decided to begin the sale of extra tickets.
