Whats the populations levels like? Higher than average for halo 3? Would love to see 25k on tonight at peak time

Instead of directing a lot of your attention to retarded sprint or AAs, you now actually have the time to devote more to matters of an actual halo game: your strafe, shot, teamplay, positioning, map control.

Talking specifically about the games responsiveness.

Strafe is hilariously bad, shooting is completely gimped by sluggish aiming and spread. I agree though, team play is king - if you're not running as a gaggle of Spartans, you're not winning.

The strafe is far more effective than it is in H4. And the spread can be bad, but 95% of the time, it's you not leading your shots properly.

I think you've gotten used to being spoonfed kills thanks to the piss poor shooting skill gap in H4. Massive autoaim, bullet magnetism, etc. Can't criticize the netcode or hitscan in H4 but both also contribute to making it a million times easier to aim.

You'll adjust after a while, but overall, the skill gap is a dozen times higher in H3. Connection, however, is also a bigger factor.

I've not been playing H4 of late so it's not that; whilst playing the game I noticed problems were a lot more apparent than they were at the time.

There are endless arguments when judging skill and/or competitiveness of each title and especially between titles. As Maybach suggests it's not really worth getting into them.
