r/halo generally has great content and is THE best way to spread about Halo news/ideas.

Downvote this shit out of this idiocy, the more of us that have accounts the quicker we'll be able to clean out the stupid infested yet popular r/halo.

I honestly cannot stand for the spread of ignorance.

If we all  make a Reddit account, we can control what dumbass shit hits the front page and what stupid comments get downvoted. You can all pretend to not care and ignore r/halo but they remain the largest and most influential bunch. Control them and you control the world.

Besides, it's a great website.

I'm pretty sure if we weren't throwing tantrums everywhere (I'm guilty of it as well) and just gave constructive criticism no one would post this.

They do need to moderate unecessary hate. I certainly don't want swearing filtered because its fucking fun but when people are going around calling people like Ghostayame and kevin franklin fucking idiots who have no idea what they're doing, I think they should get a 1 day suspension or something. Sure ghostayame hasn't really listened to us at all even though we have extremely valid points, but he doesn't deserve to be called an "incompetent moron who hasn't been relevant since halo 3".

Everything else is stupid, we liked DMRS since the start, they don't understand criticism and bitching (see: doubles pro feedback, so much feedback)

I posted in that thread. While I don't agree with him in saying he will never return to the site, I can't blame him for some of his comments. The rage in that thread last night gave me a headache. Hearing how some people were bashing Ghost and especially Bravo was sickening. I'm not saying I agree with everything Ghost has done because I do not, but when people make 10 posts telling Ghost to fuck off - no wonder he wouldn't come onto the site. Same thing with some people posting pictures of Kevin Franklin with the word "Faggot" written across it. Its sickening to see some of the hate, I don't blame some people if they see that and don't want to come back. I don't mind good discussions, I encourage it in fact. But when threads are 10+ pages of rage, assholes fighting with each other trying to get everyone on their side, and the whole 9 yards then yea it is a problem.

However, trying to assemble a "Reddit Army" to down vote people is not smart either.

We are gonna be cracking down on people who are throwing around hate on an extreme level.

EDIT: Topic unlocked, as long as you guys are there purely to take down the negative posts about THC by downvoting and not argue with users there, they clearly only saw the worst of last night, so you can't blame them for the hatred.

This was my post and it is now in the negatives. If we at least had some weight, the extremist casuals wouldn't be winning.

• The mods are doing their job fine, THC promotes freedom of speech and conversation. Racism, sexism, threats are punished severely. Swearing and being mad about settings warrants no punishment.

To conclude, you have no idea what you are talking about OP, THC is a great community that has the smartest and some of the most skilled players in it. Yes, they have some idiots/douchebags but with proper conversation and discussion, we can all eventually get along.

Idk, I find the debates on these boards entertaining and enlightening. Yeah sure there is a blasphemous post here or there that doesn't accomplish anything but hate crimes, but I just ignore those outcries of rage and move on...

Some posters on here (yes, even the ones I don't agree with) are actually very intelligent and actually give valid points to defend their stance. It's a welcome relief from, oh yeah, just about every other forum out there.

1 day suspension for saying fuck Ghost? That's overkill. I mean if one guy keeps saying fuck 343i the entire time and gives no constructive criticism then maybe they got a message letting them know that they've been warned, but i have no problem with bashing at times even though it's immature. And as long as you give legitimate feed back it shouldn't be a problem. If people are gonna choose to see only the fuck Ghost part and not the entire thread, that's their fault for being ignant.
